A Brief History: The band was formed in 2002 by Paul Sayer and Dave Stockwell originally under the name of "Solar Power". The band covered soul hits by artists such as James Brown, Sam and Dave and Wilson Picket, gigging extensively entertaining audiences at parties, soul weekends, weddings, corporate and events. In 2004 the band were joined by Emma Gilmour and Martin Standley. Now with both male and female lead vocals the band could expand their repertoire thus appealing to a wider audience. Classique was born!
