SLYDE

SLYDE are a four piece Slade tribute band based in Buckinghamshire.  The Band formed in August 2001 and are now regarded as being one of the UK ’s top 70’s Tribute Bands.

An evening with SLYDE gives people the chance to relive the Glam era of the 70’s – flares, glitter, tartan and of course the big hit songs that continue to make it so popular.. vocalist NOBBY BOULDER sounds so much like the man himself that Slade’s drummer, Don Powell, has been quoted saying “there’s only one other person sounds like that!!

The repertoire includes all those classic Slade hits such as: Cum On Feel The Noise - Cuz I Love You - Gudbye ta’ Jane - All Crazee Now.        Plus other Glam Classics like Blockbuster, 20th Century Boy, Jean Genie, Spirit In The Sky, etc.  All accompanied by a superb musical and visual performance.

In 2003 SLYDE performed on ITV’s “TRISHA” Xmas special to an audience of around 1.7 million viewers.  The performance was so successful that it was shown again at Xmas 2004.  Since then, the Band have played to literally thousands of people across the country at Festivals, Tribute Shows, Private Parties & Radio Shows.

The Band are rapidly becoming stars in their own right and continue to go from strength to strength.
