Q - 'Why use an agent? I've heard it may be cheaper to book the act directly?
This isn't neccessarily the case. We are here to negotiate the best possible price for you and booking through an agent provides you with additional safeguards should things go wrong.
If an act has to pull out through illness or another unforeseen problem (highly unlikely) we'll work hard to find you a replacement, even if it's at the last minute. In the rare case that something goes wrong and as a third party to the contract between yourself and the act, we'll do everything we can to rectify the situation.
Q - 'How does the booking process work?'
Select your act from the website - use the website to find your chosen act. You can refine your search using our search filter found at the bottom of each artist type screen. You can refine your search based on the artist type, artist genre, the type of night, and where the act will travel to.
Enquire - Once you've found the act or acts you are interested in you can contact us either by filling out our enquiry form or by phone or email. Please try to provide as much information in your enquiry as possible including approximate timings, location of your event and your preferred budget for an act.
Price and act availablity check - When we have the necessary details, we'll contact your chosen acts to check their availability and get a confirmed price for your event. This can sometimes take anything up to 48 hours but often much less. As soon as we have heard from your preferred acts we'll be straight back in touch so you can make a decision.
Confirmation of booking - If you would like to go ahead and book an act, we'll take some final details (contact details, address etc) before sending out a contract for you to sign and return. A deposit, usually equal to 15% of the acts fee is required to secure your act. This gives both you and the act piece of mind that the event is certain to go ahead. The balance is usually to be paid by cheque or bank transfer no later than 14 days prior to the event. Balance payment to the act on the night can on occassions be accepeted.

Each act's price is based on performance on a weekend in their local area. Where the act is required to travel then their fee may be higher than the fee listed on their profile. Some dates including December, New Years Eve & public holidays may also incur higher rates. Please contact us for a confirmed price.
