About Tide of Sound - Pop/Chart Duo

Born out of one of the most successful covers bands of the last decade (Hypnosis) comes a duo for a new decade. Tide Of Sound incorporates the combined talents of two of the founder members of Hypnosis to create a new and effervescent act capable of performing a wide selection of songs from the sixties all the way through to modern chart hits.

Utilising all their experience from performing in covers bands for the last 20 years Colette and Neil Alcock now bring a new, fresh approach to duo based entertainment. The whole package is based on quality. From the detail shown in the vocal performance to the unique and professionally programmed arrangements, you will see why this is one duo you can guarantee that won’t sound dated or generic.

Tide Of Sound is fronted by one of the most dynamic, energetic and illuminating female vocalists on the circuit with a vocal range that lends itself to virtually any genre. Couple this with the talent of one of the most accomplished keyboard player/programmer/vocalist’s and the diversity of their play list will become apparent. From sixties classics to the groovy 70s of the Jacksons and Stevie Wonder, the 80s electronica (Yazoo/Gary Numan), ska (The Specials) and dance (Soul 2 Soul, Black Box), through to 90s dance (N-Trance/Snap/Livin Joy), Britpop (Blur) and pop (Dee Lite) to modern 00’s indie/rock (Coldplay/Snow Patrol/Killers) and pop (Lady Gaga/Beyonce/Take That).

Add to this, production values that you would more likely see from a full gigging band including a 3.6Kw PA, full lighting and effects and you will understand why Tide Of Sound is not your normal type of duo.

Tide of Sound are available for performance at weddings, private parties, corporate functions and live venues...
