Frisco Crabbe & the Atlantic Frantics are an 8 piece party band based in Manchester. The band features a fabulous brass section - incorporating Saxophone and Trumpet, as well as guitars, drums, percussion and keyboards. And not forgetting the amazing vocals of John ‘Frisco’ Crabbe!

The Frisco Crabbe band has since gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the most successful and enduring ‘party’ bands in the UK. Frisco has played for festivals, venues, parties, universities, weddings and events during a career spanning 22 years. John and the band have appeared on television as well as performing in the USA, Australia and throughout Europe.

One of the biggest honours for John and the members of the band was being asked to perform in front of 15,000 people for the Manchester Millennium Party at the Castlefield Arena.

Although the Frisco set includes a lot of soul and funk music, the band also likes to include rock, jazz and pop in the show; no pigeonholing, just great music. If an audience can dance to it, it’s in!! The Frisco show has always been about more than great music; John feels that the audience should feel involved, and that they should have something to watch as well as dance to. Big clothes, big music, big show!
